I am pleased to share with you Akira Kusaka’s video, “An Illustrator’s Journey.” Akira Kusaka is the illus­tra­tor for A Bowl Full of Peace, a pic­ture book retelling of Sachiko Yasui’s sto­ry of sur­viv­ing the Nagasaki bomb at the end of World War II, her path to peace, and the impor­tance of her Grandmother’s bowl.
